BROOKE GLADSTONE: Of course the biggest British celebrity isn't actually a real person.
BOB GARFIELD: Yeah, like I said last week: Posh Spice.
BROOKE GLADSTONE: Garfield, don't you think you've caused enough trouble on this issue? The biggest celebrity is of course Harry Potter who, through the magic of the huge opening weekend, is once again at a theater near you. But for Potter fans that's not close enough. They want to romp where Harry romps, frolic where Harry frolics, breathe the very air that Harry breathes! And in the tradition of the Seinfeld Reality Tour that Kenny Kramer runs in New York and the Sopranos Reality Tour that takes mobs to New Jersey, there's now a Harry Potter tour that utilizes the English locations where the Potter films are shot.
BOB GARFIELD:Recently reporter Judith Kampfner sent us some tape from a tour. She found that Gloucester Cathedral serves as a stand in for Hogwarts Academy, and her tour guide, Gloria, is a stand in for Dumbledore, the Wizard. You know, sort of.
TOUR LEADER: This last summer there was two particularly big tours here, mixed adults and children from America. What I tried to do is though to give them the Medieval cloister against the Harry Potter filming in the cloister. If you haven't read the books, I have actually, but if you go wrong or anything they'll soon put you right, you know.
