'Outside the Box' is the latest from pianist and composer Omar Sosa, joined by Cuban saxophonist Yosvany Terry and drummer Julian Miltenberger. The trio plays at Dizzy's Club Sept. 4-7.

The South African guitarist Derek Gripper plays together with oud master Rahim AlHaj, from the 2025 New York Guitar Festival, recorded at Kaufman Music Center's Merkin Hall.
