Brian Lehrer: Brian Lehrer on WNYC. All right, let's see how many recommendations we can get in for winter weekend outdoor activities, especially after this first fall. We'll start with Mary on Staten Island. Mary, you're on WNYC. Hi, there.
Mary: Hi. Recommendation is to visit the Greenbelt and climb Mount Moses. It's a good time of year to see a good distance from up there.
Brian: Where is Mount Moses?
Mary: It's part of the Greenbelt of Staten Island, which would put it in Dongan Hills essentially, near Todt Hill in the middle of the island.
Brian: What do you need with a few inches of snow on the ground on your feet to climb?

Mary: Same thing, be able to see very well up there.
Brian: Enjoy it if you go up there. Sounds like a good view and a good height. Jim Bay in Harlem, you're on WNYC. Hi, Jim Bay.

Brian: Do they maintain them or do they really have to be frozen solid by nature?
Jim: No, they got to be at least two weeks up there. You will fall in if it's not.
Brian: Brian Park does have the skating rink. Thank you. Oh, here's Ruby in Croton-on-Hudson, who has some plans for today I think. Hi, Ruby.
Ruby: I'm going to go make a giant snowman.
Brian: Wow, a giant snowman. What does it look like right now? Did you see the
