Raquel Reichard

Raquel Reichard is an Orlando-based award-winning writer and editor with a focus on Latine culture, body politics, and music. Currently, she is the deputy director of Somos, Refinery29's channel by and for Latines. Previously, she has been an editor at Latina magazine, Remezcla, mitú, and Mic, while her reporting has been published in The New York Times, Cosmopolitan, Fader, Vibe and many other media outlets. When Raquel is not telling stories, she's cultivating communities online and IRL. In 2021, she founded Borilando, an arts, culture, and education nonprofit serving Puerto Ricans in Central Florida.
