Danny Lewis is an associate producer for WNYC's All Things Considered. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Danny graduated from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism before starting in radio as an intern for the WNYC Newsroom and Radiolab. He has covered the city for the New York Daily News and has also written about science, art and history for Smithsonian Magazine. At WNYC, Danny has reported on the removal of a controversial statue from Central Park, examined a New Jersey town's attempts to ban outsiders from its streets, and investigated whether New York City's water is really the secret ingredient behind our world-renowned pizza. In addition to journalism, Danny is a cartoonist and illustrator. His Twitter feed is primarily pictures of his cats.
