Carol Stabile

Carol Stabile received a PhD in English from Brown University. She is the director of the Center for the Study of Women in Society at the University of Oregon, where she writes and teaches about gender, media, and popular culture. She is finishing a book about women television writers who were blacklisted in the 1950s and is looking forward to getting back to her memoir, Ridden Hard and Put Away Wet: Growing up Cowgirl in New Jersey.
