Afi Yellow-Duke

Associate Producer, Death, Sex & Money

Afi joined the Death, Sex & Money team in the fall of 2019. Before coming to WNYC Studios, she worked at StoryCorps, where she helped produce the Peabody Award-nominated podcast series Stonewall OutLoud. She's also contributed to projects for VPM, Panoply Media, Audible Originals, and BRIC. 

Afi was selected by the Association of Independents in Radio as a New Voice in 2016, and led several cohorts as a 3-time New Voices Captain. She is one of the co-creators of the POC in Audio Directory and was recognized in the 2019 "Bitch 50" from Bitch Media as among the "most impactful creators, artists, and activists in pop culture." She was also an inaugural graduate of Neon Hum Media Podcast Editors' Bootcamp in 2021. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Afi holds a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology and Dance from Middlebury College.
