This Is Where: Poems About Places That Matter

April is National Poetry Month and, in conjunction with the O, Miami Poetry Festival, our friends at WLRN have launched a poetry project they're calling "This Is Where."  They're asking South Floridians to submit poems about the places that matter to them. The Takeaway is expanding "This Is Where" for its national audience, inviting listeners from around the country to describe the places that changed their lives. We're sharing some of the best poems—and the stories behind them—here.
